Subscription categories

The subscription categories settings page is the first step in getting AssetCenter set up. Before any subscriptions can be created, you first need to create categories.

To find it, open the blue + button in the main menu, choose Categories under Setup, then select Subscriptions in the toggle at the top of the page. If you have only been given access to subscription categories, the page opens straight onto them without the toggle.

AssetCenter does not include any categories out of the box. This is by design, so that you can tailor it to your specific use case and industry. If you are using it for IT, you will set up ISPs and Software as categories. If you are using it for a fleet of vehicles, you may use Infotainment System, Charging Network and Self Driving. It is fully flexible to however you plan to use the system.
