Step 1
Record what you pay for
Enter the vendor, billing cycle, license count and price. Add a contract with its term and renewal settings. Link the people, locations or assets that use the subscription.

Keep cost changes on the timeline
When the team changes from five licenses to four, update access with the vendor and record Update Billing in AssetCenter. The billing history keeps the earlier price beside the new one.

Review the renewal and spending
Use a to-do to assign the renewal review to an owner. The Recurring Subscription Cost report shows the recurring amount and cost to date from the billing events you recorded.

Close the employee handoff
Return the laptop, review Alex’s subscription assignments and remove or reassign them as appropriate. Removing an assignment in AssetCenter does not revoke access or reduce the vendor’s bill.
Follow the equipment return
What your team records and what integrations supply
Subscription vendors, seats, prices, contracts and assignments are entered by your team, imported from the Excel template, or maintained through your own API integration. AssetCenter does not automatically discover SaaS applications, measure software usage or change vendor access.
Microsoft Entra ID keeps People records current, and Apple Business supplies supported Apple device and coverage details. Those integrations do not discover your subscription spending.

Anything with a serial number, a tag or a cost: heavy equipment, vehicles, tools, laptops, phones, AV gear, medical devices, instruments, furniture. Alongside that you track the people who use it, the locations it lives at, and the software subscriptions and licenses that go with it.
It keeps one record for each individually identified asset, including its identity, current person and location assignments, documents, costs, maintenance, repairs, warranties, useful life and complete history. The goal is to answer what the organization owns, who is responsible for it, where it is and what has happened to it.
No. AssetCenter tracks durable items one by one. It does not manage stock quantities, reorder points, purchase orders, sales orders, picking, fulfillment or warehouse bins for consumable inventory.
No. AssetCenter provides an operational asset record and depreciation reporting. Optional GPS tracking adds live positions and trip replay for compatible trackers, but AssetCenter does not replace a general ledger, tax depreciation system, technician-focused CMMS, full fleet-telematics or RTLS platform, MDM, endpoint discovery or help desk.
