End Of Life Assets report
How old every asset is, when it reaches end of life, and who is holding it, so replacements can be planned rather than reacted to.

The End Of Life Assets report answers the budgeting question: what is coming up for replacement, and where is it. It lists your assets with their age and their end of life date, so you can see what is due this quarter rather than finding out when something fails.
Where the dates come from
End of life is not entered on the asset. It is a property of the category: on the custom categories page you set a number of months or years after which assets in that category are considered end of life, and AssetCenter applies that to each asset's acquisition date.
Change the figure on the category and every asset in it moves accordingly. An asset in a category with no end of life set has nothing to count toward, so it will not have an end of life date here.
Reading the table

Location and person come from the asset's current assignments, which is what makes this list actionable: you are not just told that fifteen laptops are due, you are told who has them.
Filters
Filter by category, by condition, by status, and by an end of life date range. The date range is the one to reach for when planning: set it to the next six months to see what is coming, or set the end date to today to see everything already overdue.
Assets that are already end of life also carry a red End Of Life badge on their own record, so the same information is visible when you open an asset directly.
The report exports to Excel with your filters applied, which makes it straightforward to hand a replacement list to whoever holds the budget.
