Asset Events report
Every lifecycle event across every asset in one table, for spotting repeat repairs, recurring damage and the assets costing you the most attention.
Last updated
Each asset's timeline tells you the story of that one asset. The Asset Events report turns those timelines sideways and shows every event across every asset in a single table, which is where patterns become visible: the model that keeps coming back for repair, the person whose equipment keeps getting damaged, the month everything needed maintenance.
Reading the table
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Asset Tag | Your tag for the asset |
| Category | The asset's category |
| Manufacturer / Model | What the asset is |
| Event | The event type, such as Repair, Maintenance or Accidental Damage |
| Event Date | When it happened |
| Person Responsible | Who was recorded against the event |
| Notes | What was written when the event was logged |
| Status | The asset's current status |
The events listed are the lifecycle events described on the asset events page — both the ones AssetCenter ships with and any you have created yourself. Anything you add as a custom event type appears here alongside the built-in ones without further setup.
Filters
Filter by category, by condition, by status, and by a start and end date covering the event date. The date range is what makes this report useful for a review period: set it to a quarter to see everything that happened in it.
Sort by Event to group the same kind of event together, or by Asset Tag to see everything that has happened to one asset in sequence.
Getting the most out of it
The report is only as good as what gets logged, and the value comes from consistency. If repairs are sometimes recorded as Repair and sometimes as a quick note, they will not group here. Deciding which events your team uses, and adding custom fields to capture the details that matter — an odometer reading, a fault code, a supplier — is what turns this from a list into something you can draw conclusions from.
The report exports to Excel with your filters applied.
