Custom category fields
Extend a category with your own fields, such as odometer readings or account PINs, and mark them required.

Categories support custom fields, so you can extend an asset or subscription to hold more details. For example, a category might be a fleet of vehicles and you want a field to hold odometer readings. Or you have a subscription category for internet service providers and you need a field to hold the account PIN.
You can create as many fields as you want for a category. The available field types are text field, number, date, checkbox, Yes / No / NA selector, and phone number. You can also mark a field as required, so every new asset or subscription must have data in it.
