The dashboard

A card-by-card tour of the home page: key metrics, to-dos, charts, expirations and recent activity.

Last updated

The dashboard is the main home page. It provides a centralized, real-time view of your organization's assets, subscriptions, people and locations.

The dashboard can be customized by pressing the Customize button. This lets you re-order the cards on the page and hide the ones you do not want to see. The layout is saved to your user profile for that organization and persists until you change it again.

Top cards: key metrics at a glance

At the top of the dashboard, summary cards display high-level counts for:

  • Deployed vs available assets — a snapshot of how many assets are currently assigned compared to those in inventory.
  • Deployed vs available subscriptions — visibility into active licenses versus unused or available subscriptions.
  • Active people — the number of people currently tracked in the system.
  • Active locations — the number of locations managing or housing assets.

The hamburger buttons on the assets and subscriptions cards let you select which categories to include in the card.

To-do card

The My To-dos card gives you a quick glance at the to-dos assigned to you. This lets you manage your to-dos directly from the dashboard without going to the To-dos page.

Asset pie chart

The asset pie chart lets you visualize the number of assets deployed by category, deployed by manufacturer, or by status.

End of life assets

The End of Life assets card shows upcoming and currently end of life assets. The dropdown selects how far ahead to look when including upcoming end of life assets.

Subscription cost

The subscription cost card plots the amount your organization has paid in recurring subscriptions. The dropdown selects how far back the chart goes, and the hamburger button selects which categories to include in the sum. Together they let you chart your subscription cost trends over time.

Expiring warranties and contracts

The expiring warranties and contracts cards are similar. Both show upcoming expirations: warranties for assets, contracts for subscriptions. Again, the dropdown selects how far ahead to look, and the hamburger button lets you toggle already expired warranties or contracts into view.

Recent activity

Recent Activity gives you a true 30,000 foot view of your organization. Every event across assets, subscriptions, people and locations is captured in one unified timeline, so you can instantly see what is happening, who is involved, and where work is happening across your team.
