}

Behavior and constraints

live is the tracker’s most recent fix, or null before the first one. Coordinates are decimal degrees; fix_at is when the position was recorded, in UTC. speed_mph is in miles per hour, course is the heading in degrees, and battery_percent may be null when the tracker doesn’t report it. connected is true while the tracker has checked in recently. available_from is when the current tracker was attached to the asset, and has_history shows whether any position history exists for the history endpoint.

GPS tracking must be enabled for the organization; otherwise the request returns 403. See GPS tracking in the user manual. An asset without a tracker, or in another organization, returns 404. Tracker device identifiers are never returned.

Errors

401 means the token is missing, expired, revoked, or not a customer API token. 403 means a required permission or administrator access is missing. 404 means the asset is unavailable or has no tracker. 422 identifies invalid or unsupported input; inspect the errors object when present. 429 means a rate limit was reached. See error handling and rate limits.
