Behavior and constraints

data.data has one point per month, from the start of the timeframe through the current month, dated on the first of the month. cost is the estimated spend for that month on subscriptions billed as subscription, following each subscription’s billing changes, pauses, cancellations, and retirements over time. all starts the month before the earliest subscription history. subscription_categories lists every subscription category so you can offer a filter, and selected_categories echoes the categories used. When no category is selected, data.data is empty. The example is abbreviated to three months.
