Your records, questioned quickly
Every inventory answer is calculated from the assets you are authorized to see, at the moment you ask. Nothing is cached, summarized in advance or estimated from a sample.
AI Asset Assistant
Ask about your inventory in plain language. AssetCenter searches your records, researches product details and exports results. Every answer includes filters and sources you can verify.

What you can ask
AssetCenter has full context of each asset and its history. Ask anything about it and get an answer grounded in your records.
Ask for a count, a list or a breakdown. AssetCenter searches your records and shows the filters behind the answer.

What the AI Asset Assistant represents
The assistant is for the questions that would otherwise mean building a filter, exporting a list or opening a dozen records to count something by hand.
Every inventory answer is calculated from the assets you are authorized to see, at the moment you ask. Nothing is cached, summarized in advance or estimated from a sample.
Manufacturer and model information is researched and cited separately from your own data, and never presented as a fact about the unit you own.
Each question uses one chat from the organization's monthly allowance, visible under Settings, then Plan & Billing, with the amount remaining and the reset date.
Scope: AI-generated answers can still misread an unclear request. Name the asset type, model, status or disposition precisely, and check important decisions against the underlying AssetCenter record or a linked source.
Evaluation questions
It does not write the numbers. The assistant chooses which search to run, AssetCenter runs that search against your records and writes the answer from the result, then shows the filters that search applied beneath it. If a question cannot be checked against your records, the assistant says so instead of estimating.
Opening the assistant from an asset makes "this", "it" and "its" refer to that record, including its identity, category, status, condition, assignment, acquisition, custom fields and recorded timeline. That means service and repair history is available, so a question such as when the timing belt was last replaced is answered from what was recorded rather than from a typical interval.
Yes. The assistant reads the vocabulary already in your account: the categories you created, the makes and models you hold, the custom fields you added and the event types you defined. A new category can be asked about by name without any setup.
Only public manufacturer and model information. Before a public lookup runs, the query is checked against your own asset tags, serial numbers, people, locations and custom field values, and blocked if it contains one. Sources for any public research appear as links in the reply.
Yes. Every answer follows the same organization and asset-category permissions as the rest of AssetCenter. Someone restricted to particular categories receives counts and lists from those categories only, and no phrasing of a question changes that.
Ask the assistant to export the records it found and name the columns you want. The file is written from the full query result rather than the examples shown in the chat, and arrives as an attachment. Excel is the default; ask for CSV if you need it.
The assistant is included with the Growth and Professional plans. Each question uses one chat from the organization's shared monthly allowance, which resets each calendar month. Chats used, chats remaining and the reset date are shown under Settings, then Plan & Billing.
The AI Asset Assistant is included with Growth and Professional, with a monthly chat allowance on each plan. Start a 14-day trial and ask it something.
