Category filters

Choose one or more asset categories to isolate vehicles, tools, IT equipment or any categories you have created.

Status filters

Toggle Available and Deployed assets independently and keep the active choices visible as badges above the map.

Shareable filtered views

Category and status choices live in the page address, so a useful view can be bookmarked or sent to a teammate.

Pin summaries

Each marker shows the matching count. Its popover adds the location name, address and a warning when the geocode is approximate.

Location detail panel

Selecting a pin opens the site beside the map, keeping its address and matching assets in view while you inspect the area.

Direct asset links

Every asset row leads to the source record, where the team can verify assignments, history, costs, files and upcoming work.

Unmapped exceptions

Locations without usable coordinates and assets without a location assignment stay visible under Not on the map, with counts and reasons.

Permission-aware totals

Category-restricted users see only the assets they are allowed to access, and the map totals are recalculated from that same scope.

What the map represents

Current assigned location, not continuous tracking

The Location Map is a geographic view of the accountable records in AssetCenter. It is designed for durable assets assigned across offices, yards, campuses, warehouses, vehicles and job sites.

Recorded assignments

An asset appears where your team currently assigned it. Moving the assignment updates the operational picture and preserves the previous handoff on the timeline.

Address-based locations

Pins come from geocoded location records. Approximate matches are labeled, and locations that cannot be geocoded remain in the exception list.

Reconciled visibility

Mapped assets, unmapped locations and assets with no location are reported together so a clean-looking map cannot hide incomplete records.

Scope: This report itself does not show live GPS, BLE, RFID or RTLS positions. It shows the current location assignment recorded by your team. Optional GPS Tracking is a separate view for compatible tracker-equipped assets; the Assignment History Map shows the sequence of recorded assignments and the events at each place.

They are kept visible in a separate Not on the map section. AssetCenter identifies locations with no coordinates and assets with no location assignment so the report totals can be reconciled instead of silently omitting them.
