Include the people who will perform the update. A workflow that works only for the buyer during a demo may not survive a job-site handoff.
Choose one category that moves often, causes repeated searching, or carries a clear documentation need. Confirm the current custodian and site while attaching or replacing the label. Define who records transfers, returns, service events, damage, and retirement.
