Choose one or more Entra groups and sync their members into People. AssetCenter keeps identity details and profile photos current, links matching records by email and marks people inactive when they leave every selected group.

A controlled connection

Choose who belongs in the asset workflow

You decide which groups are in scope. That keeps AssetCenter focused on the people who receive equipment, subscriptions or location assignments instead of copying the entire tenant by default.

One-way directory sync

Changes flow from Microsoft Entra into AssetCenter People. AssetCenter does not edit users or groups in your Microsoft directory.

Connect with administrator consent

An AssetCenter account administrator starts the connection, then a Microsoft administrator grants read access to directory users and group membership.

Select the groups that matter

Search Entra by group name and add one or more groups. Members shared by several selected groups still become one Person.

Let the directory stay authoritative

Sync immediately or let the ten-minute schedule run. Names, contact details, work information, status and photos stay aligned.

People stay useful

Directory details meet assignment history

The directory keeps identity details current. AssetCenter keeps the operational record around them: what each person has now, what they had before and the value and subscriptions attached to their work.

Current identity

Name, email, phone, title, department, company, guest status and profile photo can follow Entra.

History stays intact

Leaving a selected group marks a synced Person inactive instead of deleting assignments or past activity.

Existing records connect

A matching email links a Person you already created, then future changes follow the stable Entra identity.

People are not login accounts. Syncing someone from Entra makes them available for asset, subscription and location assignments; it does not invite them to use AssetCenter.
